Engin Broadband Plans

Engin offers a wide range of high speed services that suit whatever broadband or telephone needs you may have. The company has been offering ADSL2+ since October of 2008, both with naked DSL and bundled options. Naked DSL is basically just the broadband with no VoIP service. Bundled plans are a combination of both and you can choose from:

MyChoice Plans – Engin’s MyChoice Plans allow users to mix and match broadband plans with VoIP services that best suit their needs. The basic plan offer starts at $54.95, with a total monthly data allowance of 10 GB. MyChoice plans have peak and off-peak hours, and data quota is measured independently of each other. MyChoice broadband offers users the option of a 24-month contract, or pay on a month-to-month basis.
VoIP Ignition – VoIP Ignition offers users value bundles of broadband and VoIP. Ignition’s data quota has no peak and off-peak internet time, therefore it can be used at any time. The VoIP plans bundled with the Ignition plans offer unlimited local and national calls throughout Australia. The basic package of VoIP Ignition starts at $69, with 22c per minute on mobile phone calls. The succeeding plans, VoIP Ignition 89 and VoIP Ignition 109 offer unlimited mobile calls aside from the free local and national calls.
Landline Ignition – Like the VoIP Ignition, Engin’s Landline Ignition plans offer high-speed internet access with a data quota not restricted by peak or off-peak hours. Instead of offering VoIP, this package includes a landline with a generous call allowance. Landline Ignition packages start at $49 with 10 GB anytime data. Applicable plans are determined by what area a customer is in. Simply enter a phone number on Engin’s Landline Ignition website page to see what offers are available in your area.

For all of Engin’s broadband services, uploads are free. Engin only counts a user’s downloads. There are no extra charges if a user goes beyond their monthly data quota. Instead, the user’s Internet speed is capped at 256 kbps until it replenishes for the next month. If more speed is needed after the data quota has been used up, customers have the option to purchase afterburners to top-up the monthly quota. Afterburner prices start at $5 for 2 GB.

Engin allows a plan change any time during the month of service and will be effective immediately. Plan upgrades are free of charge, but plan downgrades may be charged $40. If you are moving house and want to move the broadband service, there may be a $75 fee.

Engin also offers customers the option to transfer their existing landline number to the Engin service and choose from one of the Engin plans and promotions.
